Art 1 Classes

Ms. Barba's Art 1 class offers students the opportunity to explore new and different fields of art throughout the spectrum, including the discussion of drawing concepts and related vocabulary, art criticism, art history, exploration of different mediums, and growth of personal expression and problem solving. Throughout the school year, students will explore different forms of art-making such as drawing, painting, scratch boards, color theory, sculpture, textile design, and digital art. Every student will be able to gain a well-rounded experience and discover a new artistic skill that they will carry with them throughout life. In addition to supporting creative minds, Ms. Barba also makes it her mission to create a classroom filled with support, understanding, and respect for one another.
