William Spain

In May of 1994, Bill Spain received his B.A. in Secondary Music Education from Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).  While at NEIU, he excelled in music theory and composition. Shortly after graduating, he was assigned as the Chorus teacher here at Amundsen.  Over the last 25 years, he held numerous positions outside of his teaching duties. They included Stage Crew Director, Junior Prom Sponsor, New Teacher Mentor, Senior Sponsor, Senior Prom Committee Sponsor, International Day Performance Director and AV Club Sponsor. Bill became the International Baccalaureate Music Teacher shortly after Amundsen became an IB World school.  Mr. Spain became a National Board Certified Music Teacher in 2007.  William Spain is still in the classroom and loves every minute of it.
