Here is a little bit about myself

My name is Eman Sarhan. I teach Physics and Astronomy at Amundsen High School.

I am the coordinator for  our annual school  STEM Fair  and the Bridge Building Contest.

My alma maters are University of Jordan, DePaul University, and American College of Education where I  earned multiple degrees in the field of Physics, Astronomy, a Master’s in Secondary Education, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. I was honored for the past two years to be part of the Northwestern  2018-2019 RET program, and the  2017, 2021 UIC BEST program.

At Amundsen, I am always looking for  creative methods and ways to engage   my  students gain real-world experience outside of the classroom ,secure internships, and earn scholarships, therefore I  sponsor the Science Fair Fair club to get ready for the STEM Fair up to the State , physics students have the chance  participate at the Northeastern University Creative Symposium for the past seven years  Astronomy club, and the  “Girls Engineering Club” who meet once a month around their lunch time to work on different engineering related activates among them preparing for  the Make-a-thon Contest sponsored by our Design and Engineering classes.
