My name is Ms.Rymut and I teach English I

Here's a little about me:
  • I am excited to start my sixth year teaching English at Amundsen!
  • I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in English, an ESL endorsement, and IB certification. Last spring, I earned a Master of Arts in School Leadership with a Principal Endorsement from Concordia University Chicago.
  • It is important to me that all students feel welcomed, heard, and accepted in my classroom. I use a student-centered teaching philosophy that centers on collaboration, active learning, and culturally relevant pedagogy.
  • Outside the classroom, I enjoy singing, playing soccer and tennis, and walking my dog along the lakefront path.
