Welcome!
I'm excited to begin my 7th year teaching English at Amundsen! My name is Mrs. Lapo, and I teach MYP English I and IB English IV. It is important to me that all students feel welcomed, heard, and accepted in my classroom. I use a student-centered teaching philosophy grounded in collaboration, active learning, and culturally relevant pedagogy. Outside the classroom, I love to sing, play tennis, and walk my dog along the lakefront trail.
