Note that there are 50 questions, but it is only worth 45. So you have the ability of getting 5 extra credit points if you score a 100%.

Colors are selected must be more than just black and white
Pictures are labeled
Label storyboard with tags and sections
Can be hand drawn, Google drawings, Google Slides, etc.

Remember! This will not be officially due until you get back. However, if you want help or feedback, upload and submit and I will leave comments in your code to help.

-3 headings (can be a variety of levels)
-2 paragraphs
-1 line break
-1 horizontal line
-1 list (ordered or unordered)
-3 list items
-3 examples of formatted text (at least three different words/phrases)

Log in using Google (your CPS account)

Click "Catalog" on the top of the page. Scroll down until you locate the "Courses" section.

Take the "Introduction to HTML" course. Your assignment is to complete the first module in the 'Learn HTML: Elements and Structure' called "Introduction to HTML" (see pictures below for reference).

Before the end of class screenshot and upload your progress to this assignment even if you are not done.
IF you are not completely finished, finish it over the weekend and upload the new screenshot.

Due by the end of class.
Formative: 10 pts
ATL : 1 pt for turning it on time.

You will have two finals in this course. One will be a test that you take the day of your assigned final. The other will be a take home written final in which you find two articles to read and summarize about technology in the world.

January 24th is a hard deadline, which means no late assignments will be accepted. You will be given two days in class to work on this assignment. If you use time wisely, you might be able to complete them in class. If you are unsure if you are doing it correctly or if your summary is thorough enough, please e-mail me ([email protected]) and I will check it.

Tip: Get them done as soon as possible. We will have a project for unit 2 assigned soon (class time will also be provided for that also). As the end of the semester and finals approach, you may start getting more projects and tests assigned. The best thing you can do is get them done as soon as they are assigned instead of procrastinating. This is not the time in the semester to fall behind because there is little wriggle room.

Remember that a paragraph should be a minimum of 5 quality sentences. Summaries should be thorough.

Pick one of the following articles. Read it and complete the reading comprehension assignment attached. Due at the end of class.

Read and complete this assignment in class on Thursday, December 5th. Must complete the guided reading questions on the side before the next section will be shown.

Complete the reading assessment at the end. Must complete the written portion for it to be graded.

If you would like it read to you, bring headphones and click the play section to the side. If it would help to have the reading translated, press translate.
To improve English skills make sure to also read it in English as well as your native language.

Create a rubric for evaluating websites/sources

Must
-Have a minimum of 5 criterions
-Tell the user how to use it
-Be consistent

After reading the Newsela article, complete this assignment.
You will only be allowed to do this assignment once.

-Print screen your e-mail
-Paste it into a google doc.

-Type your biopoem on one of the three platforms that we learned this week (docs, slides, or drawings)
-Alter the font in color, style, and size.
-Add a shape
-Add a picture

Things to keep in mind:
*Is the font big enough?
*Does it look professional?
*Is it aesthetically pleasing?
*Are you comfortable sharing what is written in your poem?
*Are the pictures pertinent and appropriately sized.

If you are doing docs:
-Change line spacing to take up one whole page.

If you are doing slides:
-Should be at least two slides (title + poem) but could be more
-Should have transitions between slides
-Should have a theme

If you are doing drawings:
-Include wordart

-words that has the font changed in color and style
-words that are underlined, bolded, or italicized.
