Description

The ultimate goal of this course is that you acquire further communicative skills in various forms and cultural awareness needed to interact with Japanese native speakers. The course continues to carry on the learning goals and outcomes of Japanese I by reviewing and utilizing the basic Japanese language skills and cultural understanding. There are three modes of communication: interpersonal, interpretive and presentational. While speaking, listening, reading and writing are practiced simultaneously, the interactive integration of these skills on the three modes is emphasized. You will be gradually and surely able to gain communicative competency in the Japanese language and culture as a whole at the intermediate level in this course.
