Course Description
Spanish II
This is a language acquisition course for students with at least one year of prior language learning experience. The course will target three areas of communication: oral communication, visual communication, and written communication. Through the study of vocabulary, grammar, and culture, students will be able to request and provide information, give and receive ideas and opinions, create and share suggestions, solutions or stories, understand and respond to messages and ideas, listen to and discuss problems, and view and interpret ideas and issues. They will also learn to listen, respond, and speak for specific purposes, interact socially, interpret and engage with visual text, refer to text when providing a personal response, interpret and engage with written text, organize and express thoughts, feelings, ideas, and opinions in writing, and develop accuracy when writing in the target language.
