Guadalupe Flores-Spanish Teacher/ESL Teacher

Hello, my name is Guadalupe Flores and I am thrilled to be a part of the Amundsen family as one of the Spanish teachers! I have been teaching Spanish for 17 years from novice levels (beginning levels) to advanced placement (AP) levels.  I am fervent about teaching language and culture and I am looking forward to helping my students find avenues to explore the world.

My Favorites

When I am not at school, I like to spend time with my kids, friends, two cats, and two dogs. I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, making crafts, and going to the park with my dogs!

Experience

I received my bachelor's degree in Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master's in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University, and my second master's in reading from Northeastern Illinois University.  I hold an ESL endorsement from Dominican University as well.
