NEWS | College Possible Spring College Visits
Students participating in College Possible will have the opportunity to take part in several college visits throughout March and April. These visits provide valuable exposure to different campuses and allow students to experience college environments firsthand while learning about admissions, financial aid, and academic programs.

CONGRATULATIONS | Viking Mathletes Excel at CCML Contest 4!
Please join us in congratulating our Amundsen Math Team for their outstanding performance at the City of Chicago Math League Contest 4, held on March 14, 2026 at Lane Tech High School.
This competition took place on Pi Day (3.14), making it a fitting celebration of mathematics and problem solving.

CONGRATULATIONS | Viking Theatre Company
Congratulations to the Viking Theatre Company for an outstanding and memorable production of Little Shop of Horrors, performed March 12–14. Our Viking actors, performers, and stage crew worked incredibly hard over preparing for this show, dedicating long hours to rehearsals, set design, technical work, and musical performance.
And let me tell you, it absolutely paid off! The performances were phenomenal from start to finish. The energy on stage, the musical talent, the acting, and the behind the scenes work all came together to create a truly impressive production. These young people are exceptionally talented, and it was clear how much heart and effort they put into bringing the show to life.
A huge thank you to the cast, crew, directors, and staff who made this production possible. We are incredibly proud of our Viking performers and grateful for the dedication they bring to the arts at Amundsen. Bravo to everyone involved on a fantastic show! 🎭
REMINDER | Calling All Writers: Senior Show Script
Seniors, submit a play script to be produced onstage!
Guidelines:
