Saturday March 9th--Gearing Up for College (Parent Edition) introduced Viking parents to the college process with help from Gear Up and the AHS Post-secondary Leadership Team. Viking parents are already looking forward to next year!
Monday March 11th--A very exciting Golden Apple visit to Amundsen. So many of our stakeholders were a part of this process. Thank you to all who helped out!
Tuesday March 12th--Japanese students from Chicago's sister city, Osaka, visited Amundsen! Amundsen's Japanese language students were so excited to greet these visitors and make connections with them before they travel across the Pacific in April.
Wednesday March 13th--IB Day at Amundsen. Visitors from IB and from around the city came to exchange ideas about teaching and learning and then ended their visit with a look at Amundsen's amazing IB Art Exhibition.
Thursday March 14th--ASCD site visit to Amundsen. School leaders from around the country and the world visited AHS to learn why Vikings are the best. AND THEN...our Computer Science students won the Lumity STEM Challenge that night!
Friday March 15th--Spring must be here because Girls Soccer is back!
Saturday March 16th--Amundsen Wrestling won 1st place! Congratulations Wrestlers! Amundsen Acadec won 5th at State and 2nd in their division. And there is a rumor that our medalists are not done winning just yet...
