Dear Principal Eilers,

The Board has made a commitment to transparency and meaningful community engagement as it carries out its search for the district’s next CEO/Superintendent. Board members from each district will host a gathering with the effort of maximizing outreach and participation in each district.

District #2 Board Members, Ebony DeBerry and Debby Pope shared that Tuesday, April 29, 2025, 6 pm at Amundsen High School is confirmed. We are reaching out with ONS and CEdO’s team Cc’d to keep them in the loop as we plan and finalize logistics for the community meeting. 

Please confirm the following in a reply to this email

• You have an ADA accessible space in your school building that can hold 100+ people

• You have a promethean board or screen that be connected to a PC or Macbook that can be used in said space

• You can host the community engagement meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Amundsen High School

Once confirmed, in a subsequent email we will share a checklist of what is needed to successfully host the community meeting.
