IB Spanish- Spanish III-Period 7 Assignments

On week 8, you will review your work since May 4th and if you have any missing assignments, you may submit them for credit by June 8, 2020. As per previous communications from me and the administration of Amundsen High School, no missing/late assignments will be accepted after June 8, 2020.

There are a few steps to follow if you have missing assignments:

1) Do all of the missing/late assignments since May 4th.

2) Send ALL of the missing/late assignments in ONE email to me by or before June 8, 2020. Do not send your assignments piecemeal.

3) Upload ALL of the missing assignments to google classroom by or before June 8, 2020.

4) Submit all of the missing assignments by June 8, 2020 on google classroom AND send all of them in one email to my inbox.

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY. If you do not follow the instructions exactly as I stated above, your grade in Aspen might not be updated since I do not receive any alerts when students submit assignments.

This week you will work on researching and presenting about the festival of Las Fallas en España.You will make a google slide show. Please use the attached document with the requested information to include in your presentation.

You must use the vocabulary words (no definitions this time) provided in the attached document define and use them in your presentation. The entire presentation will be done in Spanish.

Please be CREATIVE and. VERY DETAILED! Answering the basic questions is not enough. Those questions are just guiding questions to get you started with your presentation. This assignment might be graded as a summative (pending permission). Think of this assignment as if you were to present it to your classmates. What would you like them to learn?

I strongly encourage you to watch this funny Spanish series about an American living in Spain. It reminds me of "Friends". It is a great way to practice your listening comprehension skills and each episode is only about half hour long.

The objective of this activity is to listen for comprehension in the target language. 25% of your IB exam grade is listening comprehension.
