Think about connections to your family, your values, yourself...reflect on how you can use those connections to improve the speech.

This is a worksheet with links to famous speeches.  Make a copy of it.  
Use it to analyze at least ONE speech.  Feel free to watch a few because they are all really good.  Filling out the analysis is a graded assignment

Type up your revisions here for the poem Where I am From.

Use the template and the examples to help fill in the words of the template.  The brainstorm will be worth 10 points and the template worth 20.  These are formative points.  There are also extra hard copies in the classroom.  We will be doing the final copies on Monday.
