Due:
Using your knowledge of how to handle yourself in an interview, prepare a 1- to 2-minute long video acting out a scenario which illustrates an interview going right, to going wrong — depending on which you are assigned. Your video should be clear and easy to understand. Ask a family member or friend to help you film or play the part of the interviewer as needed. In your scenario, remember to consider:
• dress
• language
• body language
• script
• general professionalism
You will turn this in via email to Mr. Newman — [email protected] — before the start of class Tuesday. As part of the assignment, you will write a short paragraph explaining the choices you made — why you did what you did — in your script and video. Include any script materials as an attachment — if you write it on paper, share an image.
We will spend Tuesday and probably Wednesday watching and discussing your work in class, so be prepared to be put on the spot.
Point values:
• Video - 30 points
• Class presentation - 10 points
• Paragraph - 5 points
• Script or other content - 5 points
