State Social Science Standards 2015

The attached document gives the Illinois State Standards for Social Sciences including history, geography, psychology, sociology, anthropology, civics and financial literacy for elementary, middle and high school. The standards were adopted by the Illinois General Assembly in the summer of 2015. CPS has mandated their use along with the Common Core Standards for Literacy in History and Social Sciences. Assessments and lessons will address both sets of complex objectives in all classes at all levels.
