Bienvenidos a la clase!

Hola! Bienvenidos a la clase de español! My name is Ms. Dora L. Soberanis. I was born and raised in Guerrero, Mexico. I moved to the United States when I was seventeen, and finished high school in Chicago. I attended Northeastern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education-Spanish. I got my first teaching job at Amundsen High School and I have been teaching Spanish for native and non-native speakers for twenty two years. I Iove my immediate and extended family. I enjoy to eat, to sing and dance (although I'm not good at either). Every year I look forward to teaching new students. My responsibility to my students is to prepare well rounded, knowledgeable people who are ready to pursue post-secondary education and have a successful future.
My office hours are Monday thru Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. I am very flexible if students or parents need to see me outside of my office hours.
