Amy Jacobson Varsity Girls/Boys Coach

My name is Amy Jacobson and I have been part of the Amundsen Vikings Volleyball program for the past 3 years. I've had a successful record and has earned my way up to coaching at the Varsity level for the boys and girls.

I've been in charge of our boys and girls summer Volleyball programs.

Prior to joining the Vikings, I honed my skills at the Middle School level. I led the Blaine Elementary Blue Jays Girls team to 6 Conference Championships.

I also started the boys Volleyball program at Blaine. They had 5, first place championships.

I am very dedicated to our program. I am always attending seminars to learn new drills and different offenses and defenses.

I have 2 sons who attend Amundsen HS. They are both play on Varsity.

Emily O'Keefe-Nabielec Freshman Girls Coach

My name is Emily O’Keefe-Nabielec. I am the Freshman Girls Volleyball Coach.

I started playing volleyball in sixth grade and continued playing on school and club teams through college and beyond. For the past seven years I have been coaching middle school volleyball for a combined 14 seasons. Through each year and season the teams saw steady growth in number of players as well as skill level. It has been a joy to watch my team members grow in confidence as well as skill each and every season.

I am so excited to be a part of the Amundsen High School athletic experience and to share my love of volleyball and lessons learned from being part of a school team.
