Ms Triplett

Hello and welcome to my page!
My name is Verdean Triplett and I am a long time advocate for children.  I am currently a Diverse Learner teacher at Amundsen High School.  I have worked for Chicago Public Schools for 14 years and I've taught at Amundsen 12 years.  I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend great universities such as Jackson State University, Roosevelt University and Concordia University.  I have a Masters Degree in Special Education and Reading. It is my belief that education should embrace the needs of all children by creating and implementing curriculums which provides  the opportunity for all children to reach their potential goals.
In the past years I've taught self-contained Language/Literacy and Senior Seminar classes.  Currently I am a CTT/Support teacher for English IV (Mr McGowan), Sociology (Ms Brendel), Senior Seminar (Ms Welch), and Senior Seminar (Ms Riecke.)
For classroom assignments and the syllabus, please refer to my cooperating teachers' web page.
My office hours are by appointments.
Thank you!
Ms Triplett
