¿Quién soy yo?

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! 

 

I am an Amundsen High School alumni, class of 2002, passionate about languages, cultures, traveling, triathlons and CrossFit. My passion for languages, traveling and cultures began with a powerful and wonderful experience as a study abroad student in Morelia, México.  As an educator, I value the beliefs that students need to be prepared, to have the knowledge to look at the world critically, and to make positive contributions to society. Over the past thirteen years, I have worked with students in the Middle Years and International Baccalaureate Programme. Teaching in the MYP/DP IB program has given me the opportunity to help develop students' intercultural understanding and students' awareness of the role of language in relation to other areas of knowledge. 

 

I currently teach Standard Level Spanish III and IV at the DP level and Spanish I MYP. I am also an IB Examiner for the HL Internal Assessment and Paper 1. My office hours are by appointment only. Refer to your child's google classroom account for class syllabus, homework assignments and deadlines.
