Course Description
The international Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a philosophy of teaching and an approach to instruction. Students in the MYP explore significant content, develop skills, and deepen conceptual understanding through their engagement with global contexts. Teachers will plan using the MYP objectives and assess using the MYP criteria. This course in an accelerated version of IB MYP Spanish for heritage Speakers I. Students will work on perfecting grammar structures, vocabulary, writing and conversational skills and will explore the cultures of the Spanish-Speaking world in an effort to gain a functional knowledge of the target language and culture/s.
