You can rewatch a small section of video before you answer the question if you are unsure.

Review for the test Wednesday with these review slides in class on Thursday and Friday.

Summative test is Tuesday 4/5 so use these slides as review.

You may work with ONE partner only to complete practicing the characterisitcs of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, plus complete the layers of hematocrit.

Hi guys, I am still sick, but at least I found out what is wrong (bacterial sinus infection) and now I can start my medicine.  I will be back Thursday.


The chromebook cart is reserved, and I am asking Ms. Sikora to try and bring it to our room for class to help the sub out, but if she cannot, can someone be an Honorable Viking and go find the cart for our class?  


Review the structures of your ear, volume and pitch, disorders on the attached Google Slides, individual assignment due by tomorrow morning 7:45 am.

Working alone or with ONE partner, review your sections 1 and 2 notes to practice your knowledge on these review cards.  Due Monday by midnight.


This long 3 day weekend would be a great time to finish your Anatomy Term Builders pages 4-6, and begin studying with the games for the big test finals week.

Hello everyone, for Friday 12/10 when I am out, you have a choice day.  Please behave in class, be respectful to the sub, and make the most of your time.  I know you are all smart, amazing, wonderful people who I know will be Accountable, Honorable, and Scholarly.  


(1)students can use the period to study their notes and key terms review for our test on Monday. 
(2)students can use the period to do missing assignments from the Muscular System only or their Anatomy Term builder packet. Some assignments are found only online so you may use a laptop. 
(3)students can do the extra credit review option on Google Classroom using the laptops. Extra credit option is due by SUNDAY 12/12 by MIDNIGHT for credit.

I heard some people were having trouble accessing the extra credit. Here it is again, hopefully it works. You can always make a copy and rename it and email it to me by Sunday midnight.

You may work alone or with ONE partner, make sure to write a private comment telling me who you worked with.  Due by tomorrow.

Try reviewing your first knowledge of the Muscular System with these review cards.  First time, do NOT use your notes, try to answer without notes.  


Any areas that are difficult, go back with your notes and fill any missing cards out.  Due Tuesday by end of the day.  You may work alone or with ONE Partner.

With a group of 2-3 total or on your own, choose a muscle a bodybuilder would want to show off.  Create a digital slide by following the instructions found on the Google Doc below.  Write your muscle choice on the front board ASAP so no one else gets your first choice--no muscle repeats!

Due Friday 11/12/21.  You will present in class over a few days beginning Monday 11/15 as schedule allows (school was just cancelled for original presentation date of 11/12).

Today and tomorrow you will have class time to work on the Review Cards for notes section 1&2


Tomorrow the first part of class will be used for a practice test, then the remaining time will be for finishing the review cards.  They are due Thursday.

Use the first 5 minutes of class to label the anatomy of the skin as practice and to gauge how you are doing


Use the rest of class and the weekend to finish Science of Skin Color

Each student will turn in their own assignment.


Identify which BONE has been fractured by analyzing the X-ray on each slide.  Write your answer on the second last slide.


For extra credit you may use a textbook to help you figure out what TYPE of fracture has occurred and enter your answer on the last slide.

You may work with one partner and add your name in a comment to their assignment.  


Due tomorrow, Saturday, by midnight.  You should easily be able to finish in class today.

To review section 4 for our summative test next week, work with a partner or alone to review anatomical terminology, body planes, and body cavities.  Please add both your names.

Today we will practice defining and dissecting gummy bears into the 3 body planes--transverse, sagittal, and frontal.  You will work with a partner and attach your dissected gummy bear photo with LABELED BODY PLANES to this post on GC.  


**If you are absent/at home, you can draw your 3 gummy bears as you imagine they would look if you cut them into each of 3 body planes and attach your LABELED drawing here.  If you randomly have gummy bears, feel free to use them and a kitchen knife safely.

As we approach the end of the unit, we will take a PRACTICE quiz today to gauge how well you are doing.  This will be a participation score, not a summative score of your actual mastery.  Use this as a DIAGNOSTIC tool.  Our first summative on "Intro to Anatomy" will be next week so you should be studying nightly and quizzing yourself.

To gain familiarity with the organs, their location, structure, and function as well as how organs work together to perform a function in an organ system, you will work with a partner (if you choose) on this organ system card sort.

For everyone, in class or absent, use these diagrams to practice your understanding of negative feedback loops.  


READ the instructions CAREFULLY.  On the first page, you may use your notes.  On the second page, you may NOT use your notes. 


You should work on this first, and finish today in class.  It is due TODAY by midnight.

Please have your parent/guardian fill out this student info form about YOU and read over our syllabus and class policies.  You can send them the link or you can sit and go over it with them.  


This is due on Friday by midnight, and will be your first grade in Aspen.  I will see your Google Form response online and give you your credit for the assignment.

Create one slide showcasing who YOU are.  Pictures (at least 5), words, etc, please make it attractive and share with me what you want me to know.  I may show these to the entire class so please be aware of that.
