The Amundsen Academic Decathlon team advances to the CPS Academic Decathlon City Championship to be held at Whitney Young on February 20, 2010..

The Amundsen Academic Decathlon team won 17 total medals (6 Mathematics, 5 Language & Literature, 3 Science and 1 each in Art, Music and SuperQuiz) at the CPS Academic Decathlon Competition was held at CVCA on January 30, 2010. The team members are: Luis Cortes, Stephen Prince, Dardane Gjota, Jehad Broderick, Shakira Jenkins, Alejandro Carbajal, Michael Bravo, Creesthu Tharakaturi and Divina Dar Santos.
