Amundsen Evening School can only accept Active students from the Chicago Public Schools.  We can no longer accept students from non-CPS schools.
 
We also can no longer accept any Inactive students.  See attached designated sites that can accept Inactive CPS students.
 
Q3 2012 Evening School Registration Dates: February 1-16, 2012 (3:00 - 5:00 p.m.)

Classes Meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (3:30 pm to 6:00 pm)
February, 2012: 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29 
March, 2012: 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29
April, 2012: 9, 10, 11, 12
 
Please note the strict attendance policy:  Students must attend at least 24 of the 26 evening school sessions in order to qualify for credit.  Student may only miss at most 2 sessions and will be automatically dropped on the 3rd absence. There is no such thing as an excused absence.  Please do not sign up for evening school unless you are able to meet the attendance requirements and abide by our school rules.

Below are five scholarships that have recently been added to the database. All 5 scholarships must be submitted between May and July.
 
1. Deadline MAY 31st: Literary Essay Scholarship
Any member of the U.S. or Canadian high school classes of 2011 or 2012 including home schoolers.
 
2. Deadline JULY 31, 2011: Vancouver Restaurant Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be between the ages of 15-21 and be a full time student in 2011 in either High School or College/University.
 
3. Deadline JUNE 1, 2011: 2011 Scholarship Program
In order to be eligible for the scholarship you must be under 21 years of age and answer an essay question on the sponsors website.
 
4. Deadline JUNE 30, 2011: BBG Communications Scholarship
The BBG Communications scholarship is designed for students between the ages of 16 and 21 who are currently in or will be attending an institution of higher education in the Fall of 2011.
 
5. Deadline JUNE 1, 2011: Fraser Institute Student Scholarship
Submissions will be considered from secondary and post-secondary (undergraduate and graduate) students in all disciplines.
